LGSS_6: KLEANER - Safer EP
Gnat Bowden and Nia Petrol have been at the forefront of providing thought-provoking and forward-thinking art and music in Indiana for the last many years. On 'Safer', the debut EP by their group Kleaner, the song craft and writings of Bowden combine with the production and sonic alchemy of Petrol to create a six song musical declaration of intention, power and redemption within real-time crumbling social systems. An artist's exhibition of aural actions and reactions, subversively installed within the most rigid, exclusive and fickle of all contemporary media: underground punk. Kleaner creates a space in which any drawbacks of proactive ambition and idealist amateurism are rendered inconsequential by sheer purity of vision and necessity of existence. Ruminations, damnations and declarations from the crumbling highways of the Midwestern USA.
